Student Travel Grants

Student travel grants will be awarded to help offset conference expenses for students. Students may apply for travel grants by filling out the application at the link below. Travel grant applications will be accepted through May 3. Awardees will be notified by May 10 of the award level. Grant payments will be issued as a reimbursement following the conference; additional instructions for requesting travel grant payments will be provided with the award notification email. Students awarded a travel grant are required to stay at the conference hotel, and priority will be given to those students presenting at the conference.  Travel Grant Application period has closed.

Asheville Public Transportation

Asheville had a very extensive bus system that will get you everywhere you need to go during the annual meeting. Transit is an inexpensive way to get around Asheville and the surrounding area. Public transportation also helps cut down on global pollutants. Bus riders can board by paying cash fare or by using pre-paid tickets or passes. Please remember, all cash fares must be exact change. Vehicle operators cannot make change. All fare boxes can accept $1 bills.

Share the Ride – Single Trip Matching

The Single Rides tool is used to find partners to share a ride for one time trips. You can plan a carpool to the annual meeting. You and your trip partners benefit by sharing the cost of gas or parking and reduce emissions.
