BAE Alumna Named Triangle Businessperson of the Year

Sepi Saidi was named the 2018 Triangle Businessperson of the Year by the Triangle Business Journal. Saidi is the founder and CEO of SEPI Engineering, headquartered in Raleigh with offices in Wilmington, Charlotte, Richmond, Virginia and Loveland, Colorado. Saidi has her bachelor’s of science from NC State in Biological & Agricultural Engineering (BAE) and Civil Engineering and is a licensed professional engineer in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, Florida and Maryland. Saidi was named the 2017 BAE Outstanding Alumni.

SEPI is a fully integrated engineering and design firm focused on innovation, sustainability and excellence providing a wide range of engineering, planning, environmental, and construction management services in many functional areas. Prior to forming SEPI, Saidi spent over 16 years in the field of transportation engineering design and management, of which she worked approximately 12 years with the North Carolina Department of Transportation in highway design and traffic engineering. She oversees the firm’s projects in the Southeast, as well as providing financial and administrative management, business development and developing and mentoring staff.
