About

As large storm events seemingly dump a foot of rain at a time on North Carolina every year, Stormwater Control Measures are being “asked” to do a lot more than for what they were initially designed. This webinar focuses on three main elements associated with SCM resiliency. (1) Are storms indeed getting larger? (2) What can be done to ensure that SCMs are more resilient in the face of large storms? (3) How much impact can the widespread use of SCMs have on various storm sizes? In other words, expectations need to be established as to what SCMs can and cannot do. Please join NC State Extension Specialists and Researchers as that address these issues.
