About
Is permeable pavement maintenance a concern that keeps you from incorporating or recommending this technology to others? Do “massive” street sweepers and their (lack of) availability give you pause? While research has demonstrated that permeable pavement maintenance (preventative and restorative) does work, the tools available for use are not well understood. Smaller, maneuverable sweepers and vacuums make permeable pavement easier and cheaper. This demonstration will highlight these newer maintenance tools and equipment, as well as highlight simple tools to measure permeable pavement clogging. The training is held at the award-winning NC Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) building in downtown Raleigh.
