About

While land development has a history of complying with environmental regulations such as runoff flowrates and pollutant discharge, momentum exists to add management of a new environmental stressor: carbon. This webinar will emphasize the role Carbon Sequestration and Carbon Footprints might have in future land development, with a focus on four key subjects: (1) carbon sequestration provided by natural ecosystems, (2) how to develop land to minimize carbon footprints, (3) types of materials being produced that can become carbon sinks, and (4) the development of a carbon market for market-based transactions.
