Environmental Engineering, Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences

Who is your adviser and what are you studying?

François Birgand. Broadly in biogeochemistry and ecological engineering, specificly in studying impacts of land-use changes on hydrologic flow and water quality in streams.

What first made you interested in the field?

The automatic sampling and analyzing is really awesome, which makes data more accurate and let us better understand the characteristic of hydrologic flow and water quality in the monitored stream. Plus, i enjoy being to the field very much. This work gives me the opportunity to realize it.

What do you like most about BAE, the department, Weaver labs?

Social pavilion.

What is a little known fact about you?

I am a beer guy.
