Have you ever spent a lot of time working on a document/dataset to unfortunately find that it is not the latest version? Have you ever had a hard time deciphering a dataset created by “you” a while ago? Many BAE Engineers will answer yes to those questions as they frequently encounter different kinds of data during their professional or academic careers.

Therefore, the BAE GSA would like to invite you all to attend the first professional development seminar we are hosting this year under the title “Best data management practices”. In this seminar taking place on Nov. 11 from noon to 2pm in 101 Weaver, Dr. Natalie Nelson and Dr. Daniela Jones will share their thoughts on the best practices to follow while organizing, handling, and storing data to make more accessible datasets that deliver all their information in a clear and unambiguous way. The presentation will be followed by a discussion of any arising audience questions.
