Senior Design Projects

What's involved...

Senior Design teams are evaluated as they present aspects of their project to sponsors, students, and faculty. Students present a poster, slide presentations and completed project. They are expected to answer questions from the audience. Some groups additionally present at the NCSU Undergraduate Symposium earning extra recognition for their work.

Senior design projects involve a project time line, quad chart, public display component, photo documentation, literature review, project proposal, component part design, designs rendered in solid works and a budget expenditure excel sheet. To finish students present their project report, poster and final client presentation. For the projects coming in before the semester deadline they earn the choice to participate in the undergraduate symposium.
