LID Certification Exam

NOTE: The first LID Certification Exam will be administered on August 14 at Apex Town Hall. All other exams will be proctored at one of the NC Cooperative Extension Offices listed below, by appointment - starting anytime after Aug. 14. (See Exam Locations below)

After completing the two required courses and one optional course, please register online for the LID Certification Exam, pay your fee, then call the closest Extension Office to make your appointment to take the exam. You will be notified of whether or not you have passed no later than one month after the date of your exam. If you have passed, you will be issued your certificate, a pocket-sized card and stamp. Your name, company, and courses taken and passed, will be posted on this website.

From Hwy 40, take a left onto Eastwood headed towards Wrightsville Beach.
Then, turn right onto Oleander/Military Cutoff, the building is about a mile on the left. NC Cooperative Extension is located adjacent to the Arboretum.

Driving Directions:

From US Highway 17 bypass, turn south on highway 32. At the third traffic light, turn right onto Granville Street. The Chowan County Agriculture Center is the first building on the left. The graveled front parking lot entrance is on the left immediately after crossing over the small bridge.

Driving Directions: From 52 North, take the NORTH Liberty Street/Airport Exit 111B. At the first stoplight, turn right onto Fairchild Road. Go 0.3 mile and turn right into the Forsyth County Agricultural Building parking lot.

From 52 South, take the 25th/28th Street exit 111A. At the stop sign, turn right onto North Liberty Street. At the 2nd stoplight turn right onto Fairchild Road. Go 0.3 mile and turn right into the Forsyth County Agricultural Building parking lot.
