Workshop participants will be introduced to the basic principles of LID (Low Impact Development) and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).

Agenda
Workshops are from 8:30am to 5:00pm on Day 1, and 8:30am to 12:00pm on Day 2.
- Overview of LID
- Overview of LEED
- Overview of Integrated Management Stormwater Practices
- Overview of policy pertaining to LID and LEED
- Case Studies
- Overview of Economics of LID and LEED
- Hands-on activities, including design exercises
Credit Hours:
Real Estate Brokers and Agents will receive four (4) continuing education credits for participating in this workshop.
Urban and Rural Planners will receive ten (10) professional development hours for participating in this workshop. AICP approved.
Engineers will receive nine (9) professional development hours for participating in the class.
Landscape Architects will receive nine (9) continuing education credits, approved by ASLA and NCBOLA. The NCBOLA course number is 7098.
Other professionals will need to contact the governing body of your respective profession.
