Engine Mazes

Denton Farm Denton, N.C. is located in Davidson County. It is better known for its name as "The FarmPark". It's a historical theme park replicating the charm and quaint qualities of old southern farming communities and a celebration of the agricultural machinery and former transportation methods. Period buildings dot the farmland and old agricultural machinery is restored for viewing. A steam engine travels around the park carrying guests.

At the "FarmPark" many large events are hosted including the biggest the extremely well attended "Southeast Old Threshers' Reunion" which is a steam, gas and antique farm equipment show that is fun for the entire family to attend. The steam engines mazes were created in keeping with the farmpark's historical theme. The theme includes the celebration of steam, gas, and antique farm equipment.

5.The drawing information is transferred to the computer and aligned with satellite GPS information to plan out the path through the corn and know where to cut.

6. The final product is the image which can only truly be appreciated from a plane. Yet on foot the paths make for plenty of fun to navigate.
