ABOUT Senior Design Poster Printing

Posters printed at BAE: are FREE for BAE students and NCSU/BME students.

BAE will print only 1 final poster so Proof...Proof...Proof....

Did you know you can also have a poster printed at CALS ... This is a good option If you have your poster prepared and ready early because CAL's will print both a proof and final poster. CALS Poster Printing is FREE for NCSU/CALS students they will print 2 posters each year: Advance APPOINTMENT is needed.

Printing involving another Departments:
If it is a joint department senior design poster this is not a problem it will be printed no charge.

They print during Library hours which includes Saturday and Sunday They will not give you a proof page.

Print Time Stampede:
Even though it takes BAE about 15 min. to print a properly designed poster PLEASE be aware of the progress of other groups so there is not a printing stampede causing everyone to be late with their finished posters.

Lamination:
For Senior Design Posters they are grouped together and laminated each time I have 6 posters ready. Lamination is more difficult than printing (the laminator can grab the poster wrong causing it to crinkle) and sometimes the poster needs to be reprinted and re-laminated. Note: It's a waste of both lamination and my time to laminate only only one poster (each time the laminator is turned on a 2 ft. waste of laminate occurs). I will laminate the last set of posters the day before presentations.
