Costs of analytical services have gone up to reflect higher prices of supplies
and hourly labor. New prices can be found on a spreadsheet
that is set up to aid in project planning. Please copy the spreadsheet file
and use it as you will.
Procedures for Utilizing the Biological and Agricultural Engineering
Environmental Analysis Laboratory
- Before any project that requires analytical work to be done by the
Environmental Analysis Lab is submitted, the lab must be notified in advance
to determine the level of support required, and if the project can be accommodated.
- A 'PLANNING
AND APPROVAL' form must be filled out stating the analysis desired,
and the frequency and duration of the sampling program.
- The lab provides four data filelds for sample identification: source,
type, nature, and code. Note that solids and liquids samples are recorded
and reported separetly.
- Samples will be run on a first in - first out basis. Samples that
are just dropped off in the lab will not be analyzed until the lab has been
given a history of the sample(s), a code for identification, and a project
number that the sample can be billed to.
