Stormwater BMP Retrofit & Rehab

Pre-construction   post construction bmp

Pre and Post- construction photos, Gregory Elementary, Wilmington, NC

About the workshop:

Thousands of stormwater practices have been installed across North Carolina; unfortunately, many of them are not working as intended. Moreover, several watersheds, such as Jordan and Falls Lake, have far-reaching requirements for retrofitting stormwater practices. The purpose of this full day-long training to first present stormwater rehabilitation considerations and then, second, identify retrofit opportunities. This training is intended to be a follow-up for designers and regulators who have completed the NCSU's BMP Inspection and Maintenance Certification.

The training will be from 8:30am to 5:00pm (registration at 8am).
