DRAINMOD soils data are very important for reliable simulations of system design and performance.  These values are edited in the Soil input windows accessible under Manage Input Data > Soil.  DRAINMOD soils data are stored in a soils file (extension .SIN) which includes soil characteristic, volume drained and upward flux and water table relationship and infiltration parameters and water table relationship.

Approximate procedures for estimating unsaturated hydraulic conductivities, volume drained, upward flux, and Green-Ampt values versus water table depth are supplied in a series of soils data preparation programs.
