Use this procedure to use view output in DRAINMOD.
 

Tutorial: Viewing output files :

 

1. Complete steps 1 - 8 under Running a Simulation.

 

2. Click the Output > View on the Project Window.

 
3. The file explorer window will open.

 

 
4. Next to File name, choose the type of output file you would like to view from the drop down box.  Output file descriptions are linked below.

 

Hydrology File

.OUT

.DAY

.MON

.WET

.RANK

.MCT

.FLX

.OST

Yield Files

.YLD

.CRO

Carbon Files

.DOM

.MOM

.YOM

Nitrogen Files

.DNP

.MNP

.YNP

.DRN

Salinity Files

.SDR

.SAL

 

4. Double click the desired output file to view in Notepad.

 

If you do not see the file extensions, follow the below instructions.

A. Click Start > Control Panel > Folder Options.  If you do not see Folder Options, type Folder Options in to the Search box.

B. Under the View tab, uncheck 'Hide extensions for known file types'.

C. Click OK.
