Use this procedure to install DRAINMOD 6. An internet connection is required to download DRAINMOD.  Before you begin, make sure your computer meets the System Requirements.
 

To install DRAINMOD 6 :

 

1. Download the DRAINMOD Installation Package from the following website:

 http://www.bae.ncsu.edu/soil_water/drainmod/download.html
 

2. Double click on the DRAINMOD_setup.exe file to begin the installation process.
 

3. Read the Welcome screen and click 'Next'

 
 

4.Read the license, Click on the 'I accept the terms in the license agreement' option, and click 'Next'

 
 

5.Click 'Change..' to select the installation location for DRAINMOD.

NOTE: It is HIGHLY recommended that you do not change the default location. DRAINMOD will perform optimally when installed at C:\DrainMod.

Click 'Next' after install folder is selected.

 
 

6. Verify the installation location and click 'Next'

 
 

7. Wait for files to be installed.  May take several minutes depending on processor speed.

 
 

8.Click 'Finish' to complete installation process.  Optionally, check 'Launch DRAINMOD 6' to open DRAINMOD when the screen closes.

 
 

9. Start DRAINMOD by double clicking the desktop icon or navigating to the DRAINMOD folder in your Start Menu.
