Tutorial: How to create a new DRAINMOD project

 

1. Launch DRAINMOD.

 

2. Click the Project Menu Button and choose Open Project.

 

3. Select any existing project file and click 'Open'. In this example, we choose the DHP project.
 

 
 

 

4. The Project Window will open and Project Settings in the Navigation Tree will be selected.

If a message box pops up indicating a file is missing, read The Missing File Error tutorial before continuing.
 

 
 

 

5. From the Main Menu, click the Project button and choose 'Save As'.

 
 

 

6.From the drop down box, select the .PRJ file.

 
 

 

7. Click 'Save As'.

 

 
 

 

8. Enter a new file name and click 'Save'.

 
 

 

9. Click 'Yes' to open new project.

 
 

 

10.Click the  'Exit Project'  button on the original project.

 

 
 
11. Click 'Discard All Changes'.

 

 

12. You may now work with your new project file.
