Tutorial: How to copy DRAINMOD project files

 

This can be used as an alternative to Creating a New Project.

 

1. Launch DRAINMOD.

 

2. Click the Project menu button and choose Copy Project Files.

 

3. Click the browse button to the right of the 'Select a project to copy' input box.

 

4. Select the project that you would like to copy input files (PRJ, GEN, weather,soils, etc..) from and click 'Open'. In this example, I choose DHP.
 

 

5. Select which file you would like to copy by clicking on the file name.  If you select the project PRJ file, it will also copy the GEN file as well.

 

6. Click 'Copy File'.

 

7. Enter the new file name without the extension and click 'Save'.

 

8. If you choose to copy the PRJ file, you will be the option to save both the PRJ and GEN file with the new name.  Clcik 'Yes'.

 

9. You can copy other files if needed by following steps 5 - 8 above or click 'Close' to exit the utility.
