General File (.GEN)

The General File stores most of the hydrology system design settings.  These include drainage design, weather files,
soil lateral conductivity, wastewater irrigation parameters, wetland dates and depths of saturation, PET correction factors,
and other information used in the DRAINMOD simulation.

Typically GEN files will share the same base name as the PRJ file.  GEN files are automatically generated when following the Creating a New Project tutorial.

This file is required for all projects.
