The 2006 Stream Restoration Conference will be held at The Westin Charlotte,
601 South College Street, Charlotte, NC 28202. The Westin Charlotte is conveniently
located at the Charlotte Convention Center, within walking distance of uptown
businesses, shops, and entertainment venues. There is a trolley stop at
the hotel that can take guests to the area's entertainment district, museums,
and historic sites. And, the hotel is only seven miles from Charlotte-Douglas
International Airport.
Charlotte Area Attractions:
You can reserve your room by booking online at the customized reservation
website the Westin has created for NC State University which allows you
to book directly into the conference block, or you may call 1-866-837-4148.
In order to receive a group discounted rate, you must mention NC
State University Stream Restoration Institute. All reservations
must be made by September 22, 2006. Any reservation made
after this cut-off date will be honored on a space available basis at the
best available rate. A deposit equal to one night's stay is required to
hold your reservation. This deposit is refundable if notice of cancellation
is received (by the hotel) at least 72 hours prior to arrival and a cancellation
number is obtained. Please be advised that the Westin will charge a $15 parking fee per day. Click

From Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, take the Airport Freeway to Billy
Graham Parkway South. Take Interstate 77 North to John Belk Freeway (Exit 9B).
Exit on College Street and continue to the hotel located on the right.
