McLendon's Creek Watershed

Community Outreach and Education

We all contribute to nonpoint source pollution. Therefore, the McLendons Creek Watershed Project uses a variety of educational programs to teach the importance of watershed management. Educational programs range from in-depth, hands-on training such as volunteer water quality monitoring, to media programs such as brochures, fact sheets and newsletters. Throughout the project, tours will be given to a variety of audiences to provide demonstrations of the various BMPs listed above.
