Nitrogen Reduction
- Local Option: Locally developed plan to address site-specific requirements for reducing nitrogen by 8/1/03.
- Basin-Wide Option: Farms must implement pre-determined conservation practices and buffers by 8/1/02.
- Farms must sign up with, S&WCDs, to register for local management option or must follow pre-determined basin-wide management plan by 8/1/99.
- Farms in Nuese River Basin should check with CES or S&WCD office for more information.
