ELECTRIC SUPPLY RESOURCES
Below is a list of some of
the places
you can find electronic supplies to assist with the electric project
activities.
Soldering irons rated in the 25 to 40 Watts range will be adequate for
use on majority of the electric activities. A light duty rosin-core
solder
of 60/40 mix with a wire diameter of 0.032 inches is typically used on
small electronic projects. You will need stands for the soldering irons
and a desoldering iron ("Solder Sucker") is recommended for correcting
bad solder joints or mistakes. Remember safety is the first priority
when
soldering. A hot soldering iron tip can reach temperatures of 600 to
700
degrees Fahrenheit, resulting in serious burns if touched.
