Electric Program Learning Activities
Order your 2013 Project Kits |
The objectives of this hands-on activity are to provide the counties with the necessary materials and instructions to complete the assembly of a small electronic kit that will also assist with promoting the Electric Program.
Youth will learn about common electronic components that make up the project circuit, how to follow a parts layout, and how to safely use soldering equipment.
About the Electric Kits
Twenty kits per county are supplied (batteries not included) at no cost and additional kits can be purchased. The requirements are the recipients must have attended a designated training session that provides the kit assembly instructions and the kit request must come from the county 4-H Agent or Program Assistant. To order the kits simply fill out the project kit request form and mail it back to Grant Ellington. Please send the request form at least one month in advance of your planned activity date.
