Dr. Huffman works on an irrigation unit.

Dr. Huffman spends time with his students to make sure they understand engineering concepts and procedures.
Biographical
Dr. Huffman's primary focus is teaching and research. He is a PI for various research projects involving irrigation and wetland hydrology.
Huffman’s publication record includes more than 60 refereed-journal articles, conference proceedings and technical publications, which he authored or coauthored. He also co-authored the 6th edition of the textbook Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, considered the foundation for soil and water engineering teachers and students.
Since 2005, he has coordinated the PE Exam Review and Webinars for the Ag Engineering exam. This work was recognized by American Society of Biological and Agricultural Engineers by receiving recognition as the 2010 PEI Engineer of the Year.
