Responsible for teaching courses in light equipment technology,
shop operations and management, agricultural and environmental safety and
health and precision agriculture technology. Courses are constantly refreshed
and updated to match changes in technology. Extension projects include
agricultural machinery, precision agriculture, and ergonomics. Prototype
design and field testing of equipment modifications. Extension education
programs are conducted in machinery management and precision agriculture.
Product Analysis Manager, 1980 - 1983, Long Manufacturing NC Inc. Tarboro, NC
Responsible for testing and analysis of prototype agricultural
equipment. Designed test procedures, developed reports, and provided feedback
to design team. Supervised prototype shop staff. Products included tractors,
implements, peanut combines, irrigation units, and wood stoves.
