Biographical Sketch

E. H. Wiser was involved with the advent of the computer use at BAE. He was a strategic member of the computer team responsible for software development and maintenance. Wiser developed a number of computer applications in hydrology. He earned his BS at Iowa State and then came to state earning his M.S.A.E. in 1959 and PhD in '65. In the 1960s he worked on developing a computer simulation model for designing subsurface drainage. Then he worked on developing computer techniques to predict watershed runoff.
