Purpose

Local Mission

The NCSU branch of ASABE competes in the 1/4 scale tractor student design competition because we feel that it is advantageous to have opportunities to use our engineering knowledge in real world applications. While class work provides the fundamentals required to be successful in industry, hands on activities like the 1/4 scale tractor competition provide a unique learning opportunity and valuable experience. Overall, the 1/4 scale tractor competition provides a fun outlet for students to work together to design and build something to be proud of.		   06 Design Judging
