Student Club Activities

The student organizations within the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department provide students the opportunity to meet and learn from professionals within their chosen field of study. Biological engineering (BE) and agricultural and environmental technology students (AET) each have departmental student branches that are affiliated with state and national organizations.

Students in the jointly administered engineering program are involved with both the CALS Agri- Life Council and Engineer's Councils. The BE and AET programs also have departmental honor societies - Alpha Epsilon for the engineering students, and Alpha Mu for the technology students.
