What is the Town Crier?

Since 2003, TownCrier has provided a way for departments, administrative units, research groups, and other segments of the campus community to quickly and easily post news announcements on web pages. Combined with the TechTalk seminar management tool, these two Wolftech web-based applications allowed anyone with an NC State University ID to post news or seminar announcements to many departments at once.
Add a Seminar

Faculty & Staff/ may add announcements to the
Seminar page at any time during the semester.

Before adding a seminar:

  1. Schedule a room and time/ for the event
    Room 158, D.S. Weaver Labs is often used for BAE seminars. SeeBAE Secretary.
