2007 Award for Excellence

Mike Adcock

Michael Adcock is an Agricultural Research Specialist in the BAE department and he has received the CALS Awards for Excellence in the On-Campus Technical area. The University Awards for Excellence program recognizes the accomplishments and achievements of permanent NC State employees who do not hold faculty rank. Awards are given at the college and unit level and again at the University level.
This is a prestegious College level award for a staff member as Mike was one of only 30 SPA employees to receive an award. The college held an award luncheon for winners on Thursday, April 5 at the University Club. Winners receive from their college/unit $250 and 8 hours of paid leave.
Mike now is among a pool of winners that can once again be nominated to receive the University level Award for Excelence by selection committee who determine five University-level winners (4 SPA and 1 EPA) University recepiant. Congratulations Mike!

About the award: The University Awards for Excellence program recognizes the accomplishments and achievements of permanent NC State employees who do not hold faculty rank. Awards are first given at the college or unit level with 45 or so awards given each year. These recipaints then are among a pool of winners that can once again be nominated to receive the University level Award for Excelence.
