The Department is recognized world-wide for many of its technology transfer efforts and is frequently called upon to provide leadership for national and international dissemination tasks.
The Department provides leadership for many interdisciplinary, multi-departmental, and/or multi-agency projects and is noted for providing leadership in diverse groups who are often working on complex or ill-defined problems.
