Prerequisites:
Either BAE 471 or CE 383
Objectives:
Students will learn how to site and design the following stormwater
structural best management practices:
Stormwater Wetlands, Bio-retention areas, Green Roofs, Level Spreaders,
and Permeable Pavement.
Students will learn the basics of BMP design including but not limited
to:
Site selection, appropriate soils and water tables, determining water
capacity, removal effectiveness, structural design, and construction costs.

Grading:
The homework will count 10% each (5 homeworks = 50% of total grade). Homeworks
are due by the following week's class. A final exam makes up 40%.
