Store & Organize Photos

There are now many options on the web to create photo albums that are stored on public server sites. Sites have different features:

  • ability to link from their site to yours
  • storage of high resolution photos and also video
  • better bandwidths for faster access
  • tools for editing
  • service for prints
  • Fees-some sites are free, some fee based and others require membership to get more space.

    Note: If you choose to store NCSU information off-site be careful about the site agreements you enter into to prevent copyright infringements, choose a reliable company and make a second NCSU employee aware of the site giving them access/permission into the site folder.

On your machine - You can store and retrieve photos by adding your favorite photos and logos to your Microsoft Office Suite Clip Gallery. While using MS Word and PowerPoint go to File/addclips to organizer/on my own.
