Mission:

The mission of the Soil and Water Environmental Technology Center (SWETC) is to increase the technical competence and knowledge of environmental professions, students, and decision-makers through education, outreach, and research.

Goals:

  • Provide premier faculty/staff, training programs, and facilities for educating students, environmental professionals, and industry/government decision-makers on technologies related to soil and water resources, waste management, land use, and ecosystem restoration.
  • Conduct relevant and timely research to develop, evaluate, and demonstrate innovative soil and water management technologies that address societal needs for environmental protection and enhancement.
