About People @ BAE

At BAE we teach, we research, we engineer, and we produce results.

There are many reasons for the success of this department. However, the single most important factor through the years has always been the quality and dedication of our faculty & staff. This dedication reflects in the student's willingness to learn.

The department works towards educating field engineers, engineering researchers, and engineering technologist. The goal is to see our students become professionals in the fields of their choice and to continue to learn throughout their careers. We encourage our graduates to use their knowledge, training and research to make improvements to communities, individual citizens, industries, and to mentor others.

About Extension Specialists, Associates, and Assistants
Extension outreach efforts span the state to provide engineering resource to North Carolina's communities. The BAE Extension efforts have consistently established the department as a productive member of the agricultural, bioprocess, and environmental communities. Today the reach of BAE's extension work stretches from farmlands to beach communities, and to the increasing urban and suburban communities. The shifting negative environmental effects occurring on agricultural, forested lands, and in watersheds from growing populations and industries make it essential to reduce pollution, and become more resource minded as we work to sustain the quality of life we currently enjoy. For more information see: Extension Personnel Listing
